Q: How do I purchase an original piece of art?
A: The online shop is updated monthly. This is a timed shop update at 10 am CST on a chosen Saturday each month. Subscribe to The Bezert newsletter below OR follow along via social media. If you live in Southeastern Wisconsin, we also do one live art show monthly (show schedule). We also have pieces at SWOON and IL BOSCO (MKE), MOWA Gift Shop (West Bend) & PINK LLAMA GALLERY (Cedarburg). I advise calling ahead to be sure stock has been updated.
Q: I'm in your online shop and everything is sold out. Why?
A: When shopping a timed update, I always recommend being there exactly at 10am. Especially if you are looking for a specific piece. Certain pieces sell quickly and the entire shop sometimes sells out quickly.
Q: Do you do commission work?
A: Certain months of the year I open the books for custom work. Usually January through April. Contact me!
Q: How can I purchase a print?
A: Archival Quality Giclee prints are always available on the website.
Q: What is your medium?
A: I sculpt in stone clay around a lake stone and/or paper armature. The sculpture is painted with acrylics and the eyes have an encaustic wax finish.
Q: What is your inspiration?
A: Short answer... I am inspired by everything. Mostly the fauna of our world, the natural world in general and a little bit of "the unseen," but I do not limit myself or preplan my work. They seem to simply emerge from the clay. The process is very organic.
